Services
Most plumbing calls in Montgomery fall into a handful of buckets. Pick the one closest to what you are seeing and read what a good plumber checks first, or skip the reading and describe the problem in your own words. Either way the request comes to us, and we connect you with an independent local plumber who can look at it and quote it.

The jobs we match
Emergency plumbing covers the burst pipe, the water heater dumping onto the floor and the toilet that will not stop overflowing, the moments when the main shutoff matters more than anything else.
Drain cleaning is for slow tubs, kitchen lines that back up after a big meal and floor drains that gurgle. Older houses with cast iron under the floor tend to see it more often.
Water heater work runs from a pilot that will not stay lit to a full tank or tankless replacement.
Leak detection is the hunt for water you can hear or see on the bill but cannot find, including leaks under a slab.
Sewer line work deals with the pipe between the house and the city main, where roots and settled joints cause trouble.
Toilet and faucet repair handles running tanks, dripping valves, wobbly bowls and garbage disposals.
Repiping replaces worn-out galvanized or failing supply lines, often in houses that have been patched one section at a time for years.
Gas line work covers new lines for a range or water heater and repairs to old ones, which in Alabama calls for someone licensed for gas.
How the price usually gets set
Plumbing is rarely priced off a menu. A clog that clears in ten minutes and one that needs a camera down the line are both called drain cleaning, and the second costs more. That is why the plumber needs to see the job, or at least photos of it, before naming a number. Get the price in writing for the actual job, whether that is one fixture or a whole line, before any work starts. It also helps to ask what is included: haul-away of an old water heater, a permit where one is required, patching drywall after a leak repair. If two quotes look far apart, the difference is usually in what each one covers.
Ready when you are
Not sure which bucket your problem fits? That is fine. Use the request form on the quote page and say what you are seeing, where in the house it is and how long it has been going on. A photo helps more than a long description. If you are outside the city, check the towns on the list first; most of the River Region is there.
